Good app but is a bit glitchy. Had for a while now and would of figured they would of updated it to make it better and add more options. Is fun to have with friends.

Very useful app, but I can see there are some area can show improvement.

Under IOS 4.2, location services are always on when iMeet is installed, even when the app is not running, resulting in rapid battery drain

Location services stays on causing huge battery drain. Had to turn location off for this app in order to shut it down. Its stays on when you close the app. Even phone reset wouldnt shut it off. Please fix!

No option to remove a message that you pinned to the map. No option to have iMeet run in the foreground but allow the screen to turn off to help preserve battery power. Screen is always on or app stops if you allow phone to autolock. Significant Location Changes in the background only work if phone is actually powered on. Dont work if phone autolocks or sleeps. Promising app, but needs refining. For what my wife and I use this app for, it works very well. Update: Adding another star. Significant Location Updates working better than thought, just by generally using the phone causes SLCs. And despite huge battery drain, app is useful for when my wife is coming to puck me up after work as we have a car charger. I can see the potential in this app and looking forward to future updates. Author also quickly answered questions.

Pretty koo app does what it says! Cant expect any less! There still is potential to make it better but thats what updates are for! I can really see this app become big! Awsome job!!!!

iMeet is the best from all the on-line friends apps that Ive seen so far. Push Notifications does work, GPS is working precise (well, that depends on iPhones receiver and location) and everything else works as expected.

Keep this app free! Letting my friends to know about this!

This app is excellent, keep to "meeting" friend on your iphone. Id like a chat preview, design like massages app, it should be good! Keep going!

This app has great potential, the fact that it uses google maps is a great +++! I already emailed all my friends about it, I hope future updates will add facebook support.

This is a great app. I just downloded this app today. So far so good it is working fine. There are a few things I would like to see since this is powered by google map. 1. I would like to see an icon for direction to get me to my friends location. 2. I would like an icon to show me show a pic of the location of my friend since this is powered by google map. 3. Show an icon of a car, bus, and person walking to route me to my friends current location. 4. Turn by turn direction. 5. A beep or voice recording of message receive. Again, this is a great app.

Nice concept, but did not work for me. My friend always appeared offline even when she was not, also updates your location in realtime, however there is a huge lag time for those people you are tracking. All in all, GREAT concept, just not there yet. Google Latitude is free, however, it to does not track your contacts in real time, and has none of the features of imeet. With that since niether one really works, the edge had to go to Google. Free always wins.

My wife and I work for a designated driver service in Phoenix, AZ. Most of our business is local, but on longer-distance rides, she follows me in a chase car. Losing each other in traffic, at stoplights, or in unfamiliar neighborhoods was a constant problem, but this app has changed that. Now I just activate the app, and she can track me as I drive, so there is no fear of losing her way. It is easy to set up and even easier to use. The only things which keep it from being a 5-star app are the lack of ability to follow you as you move, and no provisions for getting directions or planning a route.

Have not tried the app yet, but tried to set it up and found that the buttons at the bottom of the screen have not been encoded to work with VocieOver. I am blind and VoiceOver is my only way of usinng my iPhone. Please create a PROPER version of iMeet that is accessible to ALL, one that works with Voice Over. I bought this app so that if I get lost from friends and loved ones, they can ffind me or I can find themm. Without VoiceOver working property, it makes the aplication almost useless.

But until you enable directions to from friend , I wont give a higher rating!
